About Music Instruments
One well chosen instrument per type, with the facts a player, parent or teacher needs on every page. Free tracked delivery across Australia on orders over $150.
We started Music Instruments for a simple reason. Buying an instrument online is harder than it should be. Search for a beginner guitar and you get forty listings that look the same, and none of them tells you the scale length, what is in the box or whether it comes with a case. We wanted a shop with one good pick per instrument and the facts up front.
The facts on every page
Each product page lists the maker's details: size, key, materials and what is in the box. For keyboards and electronic kits, the page says how the instrument is powered and what it connects to. For guitars and string instruments, look for the scale length and the strings it ships with. If the maker has not published a detail, we say so rather than guess.
A skill level or size guide is the maker's guidance, and not every maker gives one. You know the player best, so read it together with the size and what is in the box. A half size classical guitar suits a young child; a full size dreadnought does not.
Seven categories, one pick per instrument
We sell guitars and basses, string instruments such as the ukulele, violin, lyre harp, banjo and mandolin, keyboards and a digital piano, drums and percussion from an electronic kit to a kalimba, and wind and brass from a harmonica to an alto saxophone. Two ranges sit alongside them: child-sized instruments for ages 3 and up, and beginner packs that arrive with the bag, tuner, amp or stand a first player needs.
We keep the range tidy on purpose. One instrument per type means you compare a guitar with a bass or a keyboard, not forty near-identical guitars.
How we ship
Orders ship with a tracked courier, and delivery is free on orders of $150 or more (a flat $15 applies under $150). Most orders arrive within 3 to 7 working days of the order date, a little longer to regional areas. Buying for a birthday or the start of term? Order with that window in mind.
Not sure whether an instrument suits the player, how big it is, or what it needs to run? Email us before you order at theteam@musicinstruments.net.au and a real person will help, usually within one working day.
Music Instruments ships within Australia only. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Who is behind Music Instruments
Music Instruments is part of a family-owned group of online stores. Our CEO, Renoo Caruso, is a Christian preacher based in Phetchaburi, Thailand. Renoo leads a local church with a congregation of more than 200 people and shares daily Bible teaching in Thai through renoo.faith and a YouTube channel with over 1,600 videos.
That faith shapes how we trade. Clear prices, honest product details, and a real person answering your email. We would rather lose a sale than mislead a customer.
